NexGen Juniors Qualify for U.S. Kids World Championships at Pinehurst

It’s official, Northern Golf Club is sending five of its brightest young talents to one of the world’s most prestigious junior golf tournaments. In July 2025, five rising stars from our Elite NexGen Junior Academy will travel to Pinehurst, North Carolina to compete in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships, a global showdown featuring top junior golfers from over 50 countries.

Meet the Team Representing Australia and Northern GC:

  • Sam Machado (13)
  • Xavier Young (9)
  • Jaguar Bogert (10)
  • Phoenix Bogert (7)
  • Landon Field (10)

Each of these young athletes has earned their place at Pinehurst through exceptional dedication, countless hours of training, and a competitive spirit beyond their years.

Guided by the visionary coaching of Greg McConnell and the groundbreaking 20-level NexGen Junior Development Program, these juniors are the embodiment of what happens when talent meets opportunity. The NexGen system — focused on performance, live scoring, and real-time learning is producing players not only capable of competing internationally but ready to shine.

“This is more than just a tournament — it’s a dream come true,” said Greg McConnell. “These juniors have pushed themselves harder than ever, and now they get to showcase their talent on one of the biggest stages in junior golf. This is just the beginning of their journey.”

For the players, it’s the chance of a lifetime. For the club — and all of Australia — it’s a moment of pride, inspiration, and excitement.
