Annual Cart Deal

Members are asked to register their interest in applying for an annual cart membership.

An annual cart membership gives a member 7 day access to golf carts. A member must nominate two days of the week and what time they require a cart. The other days a cart can be used if it is available.

Cart membership is valet service, where clubs are stored in the cart shed and secured to the cart each time a member books to play. The golf cart is left outside the golf shop ready for the member and once the round is completed, the member returns the cart back to the golf shop. Staff will then return clubs back to storage.

For example

Mick plays golf every week on Wednesday morning and Saturday afternoon. He nominates Wednesday AM and Saturday PM he wants a cart.
Every Wednesday morning and Saturday afternoon when he plays, a cart will be sitting outside the golf shop with his golf bag secured to it ready to go. While Mick registers with the golf shop he is give a cart key and heads out to play.

After his round he returns the cart to the shop and gives the key back to the staff. Staff will then return his clubs back to storage and reset the cart for future hires.

If Mick decided to play on a Monday and carts were available, he can use a cart at no extra charge. Or if he decided to play late Friday night and there were carts available, he could take a cart out at no extra charge.

Basically it is unlimited hires per week with at least 2 days a cart is booked automatically. Whenever Mick books on the timesheet a cart is booked for him automatically.

Annual Cart Membership Details & Rules

Shared users must nominate the same days and times they play and must play in the same group and ride in the same cart. However they can use a cart outside these days if they are available individually.

$31 per week

Billed with golf subscriptions

Rules

Nominate 2 days and either Am or PM

Cannot be transferred to another member

Members not on annual deal cannot ride in cart

There are no refunds for the following

• Cart restrictions on course for any reason
• Carts not available outside nominated days

New Fleet of Carts

The new fleet of carts will be equipped with full lithium batteries, GPS tracking unit and an LCD screen with hole yardages and flyovers.

The new fleet will have GPS tracking. This will give ground staff and golf shop staff access to limit where the golf cart can go. For instance in winter, carts will be restricted to stay away from extreme wet areas and will guide the user away from these areas. And when the cart is used for a corporate event it has more restrictions around greens and sensitive areas of the course, keeping the user on fairways and paths.

Overall the GPS tracking will allow the carts to be on the course for longer periods over the wetter months. There will be periods over the winter where only GPS equipped carts can go on the course because they can be tracked and kept in the right areas and personal ride on buggies won't have access.

Current Carts

There are currently 6 carts available for hire and Northern GC is increasing its fleet by 5 for a total of 11 carts.

Currently carts can be hired by members and guests at the following rates and will be increased to the new price November 2022.
